Kish Magazine RBT Debut

Hello RBT Readers!

Happy November!!

This year has flown by swiftly but guess what? We still have a little under 60 days to believe God for Greater! That’s good news!!

I absolutely know without a shadow of a doubt that our God can do more in this short period than He has in the days, weeks and months that have already passed by! Can I get someone to holla back in agreement!! No matter what it looks like, faith is still the factor that pleases and moves our Heavenly Father! Don’t faint now; don’t loose hope and don’t adjust the clarity of your natural eye but rather sharpen your spiritual spectacles!!

On that note, praise report moment! As many may know,  I’ve been writing for a Christian Inspirational magazine called KISH for several  months now. My monthly article submissions are updated on the website under the “Dreamer’s” blog but one of them actually made it to the printed publication!!!

http://www.kish-magazine.com
Something I wrote actually is graced in the same edition as the nationally known, top motivational speaker, the phenomenal Mr. LES Brown!! Who would have thought! Certainly not I 365 days ago!! I’m so proud of the opportunity and give my Savior all the credit for he alone is worthy!

The article that was selected for the KISH Magazine  Fall print edition is entitled “Believe & Build it!” Such an appropriate motivational soliloquy for such a time as this!

Stick with me and regain your focus, passion and purpose! God is more than able!

Blessings to you all!

Soulful Sunday – Provision – A Word of Exhortation

The Spirit of the Lord whispered to my soul speaking specific, detailed and BOLD things about the subject of finances and provision.  Believe and Receive!

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The Lord your God says that my children are putting me in a box during a critical season of complete overflow for them. 2016 is a year of Jubilee, a pouring out of abundant blessings! They are thinking, praying and asking too small when so much more is available. I’m so much bigger and greater than daily needs sayeth the Lord.  This REALLY is your time!

I can’t bless my babies beyond what they ask for or believe no matter how much I want to. Those who seek and step up to receive this abundance must do so in Faith and free from greed, unnecessary excess and complete selfishness.  For the blessings are not just for you alone but for the lost.

I want to entrust and spoil you with the finer things of this world knowing that you will handle MY business! That dream, that vision, that desire, that longing is yours, just as I have shown and told you.  But your Faith wavers way too frequently! I am that Big God and you must trust me through my Word.  Get back in line, agree with only me and those who seek me and also are in agreement.  Watch me be your Abba Father, spoil you beyond description, showing off for you immeasurably!  Again, not for you to keep it to yourself in testimony and in deed, but to operate in the more than enough blessings in order to be a blessing.

Over the past several months, I have been showing my children blessings that they have defined as incredible. But they are small matters in comparison to what I truly have.  How long will you operate in the same minute mindset?  How much more do you have to suffer unnecessarily when you have a Father who owns it all?  I’ve put the power in your hands to change your circumstances NOW and in this very hour.

I have commanded you to Occupy Until I Return (Luke 19:13).  How can you do so empty handed, with a cast down spirit, riddled with worry, living beneath your means, robbing Peter to pay Paul, existing from pay-check to pay-check, losing sleep and grossly struggling?  If this is your case, you are under a curse and it does not line up with my promises. Rebuke the devour with My word through your lips, with commitment to paying your tithes and offerings and with your Faith.  These are the critical keys to overcoming lack.  NO NEGOTIATIONS! They all go together! There is no other way!

I said ask and you shall receive! – (Matthew 21:22)

I said seek and you shall find!  – (Matthew 7:7)

I said lend and not borrow!  – (Deuteronomy 15:6)

I said LIVE and not die! – (Psalm 118:17)

Let me be who I said I am that is no other than and none less than THE GREAT I AM!

(Exodus 3:14, John 4:26, 6:20, 8:24, 28 & 58, 13:19, & 18:5)

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
If you receive this word, I dare, challenge and provoke you to take your Faith relative to provision and finances to a greater level. There are 3 more months left in this season.  Its not too late to get what God has for you! I dare you to speak NOTHING but His promises from this day forward regardless of what it looks like in the natural! If you can’t speak life into your circumstances, then shut your mouth and say nothing at all! We’ve been negative long enough. Let’s do something different and REALLY believe God!

Believe Him like never before! Put the enemy under your feet!  Stop shouting and then turning around and worry, speaking and meditating on death, but remain consistent until blessings manifest from the spiritual into the natural!

For the next 7 days, (Sept 25, 2016-Oct 1, 2016) Speak nothing but life over your finances. Get scriptures on it and don’t be moved!  I don’t care if the bill collectors are at the door, they reposes your car, the tax man garnishes your wages, they cut off your gas and water, or you loose your job, Say what God says and watch what He does because you believed!

Hope Deferred

I feel like I’ve been waiting for certain things I truly believe are to come to pass in my life for quite sometime now. I’ve seen them and God has shown me my appointed end. Matters relative to family, health, ministry, finances and beyond. Confirmation my spirit has experienced, but as days turn into weeks, weeks into months and months into years, my human heart sometimes grows absolutely sick!

This eager side of my anatomy can often times magnify those voices I have fought fervently to keep silent! I have a goal to be successful in the things of God but they have an agenda to the contrary. This alone assures me that as a Believer, Spiritual Warfare is very much alive and REAL!

Proverbs 13:12 says “Hope deferred makes the heart sick but a promise fulfilled is a tree of life.”

This passage serves further confirmation that as humans we will feel a level of edginess in the waiting on the things of God. This is all because we live in flesh that constantly battles matters of the spirit. Just like in a game of tug-of-war, believers are faced with the challenge daily to remain as the encouraging overcomes that we truly are.

This holds especially true when we feel we have done our part, everything humanly possible to get that dream in motion. We get side tracked by the lack of tangible resources, supporters, connections and the prolonged end result. This is when the enemy can get busy with his lies that our hope shall never be.

But the God we serve never ever fails! For the hasty heart, these reminders are relevant throughout our wait. It’s easy to say but sometimes challenging to do consistently. Our Savior is certainly hard at work in that spiritual realm not visible by our natural eye. The details are tight, specific and will make their presence in His appointed time. The total revelation WILL blow you away! Profection just can’t be rushed!

So what should a faint impatient heart do in between time; in the meantime? Well we need to hold fastto our greatest hope which is in Christ Jesus! There is none other and no other way! Should we choose another route we could go completely insane staring out the window, looking at the clock and flipping through the calendar.

It’s coming!! Stay in Faith, be grateful and thankful that you are called for such a time as this.

If you are still struggling to remain hopeful, prayerfully this post made you smile and laugh. It did for me!😂

God you got this right? I’m chillin!

Time for a Spot Check!

What are you doing and where are you at?

Yes I so boldly begin this post by getting all in your business!!

Oh, By the way,  Happy August!

This glorious month leaves us with just under 5 left in 2016. Time is really flying!!

Which brings me back to my initial inquiry; where are you?

Let’s do a quick life spot check!

Are you still working towards those goals you so enthusiastically set at the New Year or have you run out of steam?

Has life thrown you a few punches leaving you questioning the process?

Are you paralyzed by procrastination due to fear and lack of faith that you too can make it?

Here are some clues that may confirm that you may have lost your way a bit…

Each day looks like the last and hopelessness is setting in.

You have mistaken your career as your life’s purpose putting all your time and energy into what does not and will not produce lasting joy.

You have stopped putting effort into your goals. You’ve lost sight, hope and remain at a standstill.

You are feeling bitter, slighted, antsy, impatient, doubtful, angry and a whole host of other negative emotions….

So these things happen to us all from time-to-time. I have both hands up confessing that these mental barricades have tried to take camp in my journey as well. But I have become radical and refuse to go backwards for there is nothing behind me that’s beneficial. I must keep moving.

So do you! If you are not happy in you relationships, job, business or have qualms with yourself, God has given you all you need to change your circumstances. They won’t alter on their own, YOU MUST DO SOMETHING!

Stop with the excuses, the pity party and the blame games. Especially as believers in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, it’s either we believe his Word or we don’t!

It’s not too late! Five months is still a good bit of time especially since we serve a very Big God who is able to do all things!

What will the end of your 2016 look like? You decide!

Soulful Sunday – The Cherry Picker

Like many, I simply love summer! Mostly because of the ripeness it provides in fruit! Bing cherries are my very favorite and I have a time at the local farmers market rummaging through baskets of them to assure I pick out nothing but the the best.

Last summer I visited an orchard with my family. It was my first time and I felt so child-like while racing with my son down the isles of purposely planted trees. Eyeing the fruit of each and deciding which was worthy of selection and deposit into our wooden basket. I also could not help but to notice those that fell to the ground, were pushed off by the way-side as their bruises shimmered in the sunshine accenting signs of unworthiness.

Like a careful fruit selector, so are some believers when it comes to mounting issues in our lives. We give some to God and keep others discarded away in the crevices of our bruised and bleeding souls. We “Cherry Pick” and select which problems we feel and want God to handle while we retain, ignore, bury and discard others that our level of faith has not trusted our Savior to completely deliver us from.

Maybe we’ve been in it so long that we gave up hope for change, or we just don’t believe that matters actually can. So we endure hidden and secret pains that have contaminated and rotted away at the core of our spirits.

Jesus Christ says Cast all your cares on him! This is the totality of Him sacrificing His life for ours. He died and paid the cost for EVERY matter that concerns us. He did not pick and choose! He wants it All!!

There is no statement more true than; “Nothing is too big for our God!”

What problems are you facing today that you have “Cherry Picked”?

Is it your finances?

Your relationships?

Your health?

The pain from your past?

Your concerns for the future?

Your deferred dream?

Whatever it may be, Consider how long it’s been in your possession. Has anything really changed?

Offer it up to your Lord and Savior and let him REALLY handle it!  It’s the reason why He came, lived, died and rose again! He’s more than able!

Have a blessed Sunday!

Kish Magazine Article – Believe and Build It!

Hi there readers!! This month’s article published on The Kish Magazine Dreamer’s Blog is another motivational piece about the necessary work efforts when you are striving towards destiny!

We all have dreams but along the journey towards them we meet so many obstacles!!! No one is exempt! I’m preaching to myself as I pen these words! It’s challenging to stay inspired and to keep going at times. I know my natural mind asks often, “Is this really going to happen for me? Will it come to pass?”

Of course it will because my Abba Father already said so in Jeremiah 29:11. I know that my dreams line up with the gifts He’s given me and He’s shown me the end in visions. As I travel, He sends beautiful people my way to cheer me on and reminds me that I must not grow faint!

I give that same to you because iron must sharpen iron so that we hold each other accountable to not give up!

Here is the link to the article entitled “Believe and Build it!”  (God has now blessed me with my own column on the site so I am truly grateful!)

Believe and Build it!

Be inspired and share what God has done in your life relevant to your purpose! It’s going to unfold just as he ordained it so just keep moving!!

Blessings always!

Read This! Dreaming the Dream

This month’s book review is coming a day late but I don’t even know if what I have to say will serve enough justice! It’s entitled “Dreaming the Dream!”

This one, without question is a serious MUST READ! I picked it up at such an appropriate time and was completely blessed beyond description!

This book is an incredible collaboration of 8 exceptional women and men of God who will inspire their readers to walk in love, keep their faith and refuse to abandon their dreams!

This read was beyond timely for me as I have reached a plateau while walking such an uncertain path towards my heart’s desires. Something inside has been reignited after considering the content between these pages.

Here are some highlights! It is my hopes that they will tempt you to purchase your own copy so that you can experience the totality of all the wisdom this book has to offer!

Shawneya Ellis will challenge you to reexamine your life and do some serious pruning! There may be some deadly seeds that may have been deposited in you life. They are smothering and preventing you from experiencing God’s best!

Romella Vaughn provides incredible wisdom on why it’s necessary for every believer to wait on God. Patience is truly a virtue! While we wait we must be in preparation, focus on healing, be patient, have no fear, be aware of distractions and Trust God through it all!

Kishma A. George will encourage your heart and motivate readers to use what they have! Be unique, authentic and never downgrade the gift and visions that come to you from the Lord! They shall come to pass; it has been declared!!

Pippa Ashley provides a moving depiction of the essence of love. She reminds readers of its purpose, importance, the way it should operate and move in the life of a believer.

Dr. Yomi Garnett boldly decrees on the necessity of a steadfast spirit that is essential in living out your dreams. Don’t wallow in your past rather learn from them. Preserverence is non-negotiable and if failure is experienced, its not over! Have faith and fight to be extraordinary!

Rodney Davis shares a powerful testimony on his personal journey towards reaching his own dreams. His story really ministered to me about how God loves using people with barren wombs to produce incredible outcomes!

Tammy Collins Markee encourages readers to be resilient towards the quest of walking towards your dreams. Like a powerful inferno we must keep our eye on the mark while maintaining a humble disposition as we represent him and understand that it’s His process.

Trina Bowers provides loving conviction on the importance of operating in loyalty in order to obtain favor in our own desires. At times we must serve and help others reach their own destiny before ours will come to pass. Selfishness not allowed!

These are just a sample of nuggets I personally obtained from this excellent read. Again I don’t have enough words to express how each one of these authors inspired me to change certain aspects of my spirit as I journey towards what God has for me.

Dreaming the Dream is available on Amazon.com in both paperback and kindle edition.

So I Dream

I want to be a New York Times best selling author! Yes that’s what I aspire to be. But how, when and do I even dare to invest in this dream? The vision is big, the order tall, the obstacles great and  the competition many….

Yes me; little ole me whose odds in the past have been mostly unfavorable is dreaming; long, hard and consistently as of lates. I’m haunted daily by this fantasy that refuses to go away…
This strong desire comes at a time when life looks so uncertain in the natural and I am unable to see or predict next steps. I’ve completely lost control of the process.  Nothing right now makes sense and I’m extremely uncomfortable. THAT’S REAL TALK!

But my dreams are demanding me to embrace the challenge and see myself out of my current circumstances by taking a chance. Speak those things as though they were, is what my Savior taunts me to do. (Isaiah 55:11, 2nd Corinthians 4:18)

I see myself completely exposed to the attention, the life, the perks and the acclaim. I like most of what I am seeing but not really comfortable with others that will naturally come with the territory (pesky paparazzi and the gossip columnists. I could do without all of them!). It all seems so real through the lens of my discerning eye.

Journey with me for a moment; if you will..

I see my name in the papers, the critics praise and critique my work. I am the talk of the town!

My “Pen Name” is scripted on the cover of books; hard, soft and electronic copies. They are published in the U.S.A and abroad; in various languages for all to appreciate.

I am preparing for awards and writing acceptance speeches; and yes, I’m nervous but I can and must do this!

People are throwing honorary gatherings in my name! The parties are simply fabulous and I must get ready!

I’m draped in breath taking gowns meant for a Movie Star. Vera Wang wants me to model her latest design. So does Versace. I’m confused on which to choose. I certainly won’t be going with CHANEL right now for that would  be way too predictable of course! What’s a girl to do? (sigh!)

I’m Living in a “castle like” abode and hire a wonderful chef to prepare my meals.  Lots of veggies and salad please!

I’m giving back to the very few who cheered me along the way; when I was no one and my voice was silent. I would not be here without them and my gratitude is endless!

Yes, I’m Dreaming like I hit the lottery today but the reward comes from the work of my own hands and not by luck of the draw.
My dreams contradict my reality and common experience. For I’m from poverty, neglect, and routinely overlooked in most places I venture.
But recently I read the backgrounds of two authors whom I admire greatly. They both made it to my dream status and they sound like me! In Fact, they were me, long ago until they started to act out on their dreams….

I shall keep hoping, wishing and yearning. My sacrificial work that must be done in conjunction is my act of faith for I too deserve. Yeah, that’s right; with my head held up high I boldly profess, “Why Not Me!”

What about you? What are you longing for? Share and come dream with me!
