RBT Show – Senseless Small Stuff

Hi RBT Readers!

Blessings to you all! I want to take a moment to thank all who have subscribed to this blog and have cheered me along my writing journey. I don’t say it enough being over consumed in business, but I thank and appreciate you from the bottom of my heart!

The RBT blog has progressed from a written platform to a audio show and now a visual talk show on The Heart Ministry Radio platform! What a journey! I’ve learned quickly that’s it’s easier to hide behind my computer or microphone than to assume the pressures of clothes, make up and hair on the set every week! Boy oh boy, what a journey!

My last show that aired this past Monday is entitled “Senseless Small Stuff! Based on the blog I wrote a couple of years ago where I share a personal RBT of mine about my snoring husband! Funny in the grand scheme but truly a Small Matter.

Inspiration

The Remnants of Rejection

They still linger wooing you back into the deepest pit of despair to have teetering intimacy that tortures and paralyzed your soul.

After revelation, acknowledgement, spirit searching and confessing deliverance, sometimes the emotion of rejection still lingers.

During times of great inconvenience

Feelings of inadequacy

Struggling to find common place in familiar spaces.

Emotional walls you use as shields to barricade your over sensitive mind and still fragile heart. All serve as an avoidance mechanism to prevent the excruciating pain of human dismissal.

You know that:

You matter!

You have something to say!

Great things to offer.

Were Put here for beneficial reasons.

Have a great deal to offer…

But yet the remnants of rejection haunts periodically from:

That boss who overlooks you constantly.

That spouse who once adored you is now taking your presence for granted.

That father who only donated to your existence but walked away from taking part in your development.

That mother who only carries the title but failed miserably to prepare you for life in action, deed and guidance.

That circle of people you’ve tried to fit in with but struggle to consistently feel a sense of acceptance.

That child that now discounts your sacrifices down to mere mediocre obligations.

That organization, network group or ministry that fails to recognize your value by not allowing fresh perspectives to advance the agenda.

It is all evident and really truly hurts.

You live on with deep suppression of it all. Some days not entertaining rejection works but other days it burst on the scene of your feelings like a tidal wave leaving you drowning in great emotional despair.

But God who has delivered often reminds you to stay focused and forge ahead not giving into to the temptations of the accusatory voice. For that is truly what rejection is. A self destructive tactic of the enemy to cease what must manifest in your life.

He (Satan), also knows your value and how powerful you would be if only you find the courage to shut him down completely and permanently!

The facts of how you came to be, who suffered a loss due to not accepting you as a blessing, or who felt it robbery to contribute to your maturity are all significant components directly tied to your life’s purpose.

Be not deceived that your current experience defines your end result. God, in Christ Jesus is more than willing to heal your heart from rejection and beyond. Trust the process by looking to Him and Him alone. Through the Savior, we are never thrown away, never discounted and never left alone.

Soulful Sunday – Condemnation & Conviction- The Difference

Since we all live in flesh, that fact alone guarantees that each one of us will make decisions and do things contrary to the word of God. It’s just human nature and practically unavoidable at times.

As we grow spiritually, we do get stronger at avoiding the traps of temptation, but we all will still fall short periodically. During this process, others will judge our lives, question our salvation, and criticize our character. Unfortunately, this too comes with the territory and takes a daily spiritual fight to advance in our Christ-like positions.

As we journey, it’s critical to assure we are not handling the mistakes we will sometimes make using the wrong tactics and state-of-mind.

Sometimes, believers can confuse operating in condemnation vs. conviction. There are stark differences between the two that we must keep in the front of our minds.

When we condemn ourselves after making a mistake, we have issued a personal charge to an extended period of mental punishment, blame and rebuke. Condemnation is a tactic from the enemy to make us feel bad indefinitely, walk In unforgiveness towards ourselves and try to make us feel like we are no longer worthy of all that God has for us.

Conviction is rather a gentle “Check” in our spirits from The Lord to aid us in not finding comfort in behavior that doesn’t reflect His Character. We should never beat ourselves up at this nudge but rather take note and work at making corrections in our conduct so that we can continue to grow in Him.

Are you downcast today because of something you did or said to another?

Are you torturing yourself mentally and not feeling deserving of God’s love?

Are you allowing the slurs of others who witnessed what you did wrong to stop your hand and heart from praising our Savior?

Let me encourage you today to know that you’re not the only one! I know what occurred felt unfixable but that’s a lie from Hell and a way to keep you from the comfort of God’s arms. His grace and His mercy are still for you! Stop mentally bashing yourself with condemnation but rather accept the conviction and move on with God! He’s still and always will be for you! That settles it!

Soulful Sunday – Seasons of Favor

When I woke up this morning, I felt a sense of gratitude to see yet another dawning but still perplexed that today is the final one of 2017.

This emotion has been rather consistent at the close of the past several years. I simply accredit the feeling to the process of maturity. I no longer take new days, weeks nor years for granted. Rather I embrace them with thanksgiving that My Savior gave me another chance.

I feel a season of favor is at hand. Not just upon my life, but many who will receive and perceive it with the right state of mind.

This “ Favor” I speak about is defined as a wave of blessings expected and unexpected. A massive switch in life’s normal outcomes that keep us at a status quo. An elevation to another level that we once only dreamed of is now becoming a tangible reality!

This is certainly the season I personally believe I am in. What will manifest in 2018 is going to blow me away! I just feel it and God has revealed it! For those reading this who believe the same is true in your own lives, you, I, we, must prepare to embrace this great takeover!

For all others considering these words, “Favor” doesn’t happen for everyone simultaneously. However, it does occur none-the-less if we are accurately positioned. How big that wave of “Favor” comes is strictly up to us individually and is directly connected to how much we believe.

This can’t be done without a level of faith coupled by natural acts we are all responsible for doing in order to bring that “Favor” into our realities. As we move into action, God will move with us operating in those areas that we have no control over. That’s Indeed The Formula For Favor!

If you don’t feel that you are in this season right now, that’s ok. We are not suppose to be at the same time. During these times of stillness we must be very careful not to become envious of others who are experiencing their overflow for they were once in a calm themselves. It’s just their time!

Yours WILL come if you are taking the necessary steps to get there. Until then we are to genuinely celebrate one another at every advance and realize that the spirit of jealousy is a trick from the enemy to cause a divide, distraction and a delay.

Instead of focusing too deeply on another’s progress, take this time to

Restrategize, be supportive, serve others, and seek God for direction on how to advance the agenda He’s called you to. The opportunity is there for us all just at separate times.

As we usher in 2018 in just a few hours, make it a point to get closer to God so that you may find out what your personal “Favor” looks like. Write out the vision, cheer on others then watch “The Suddenly” overtake you at it’s due time!

Soulful Sunday – A Wake Up Call For Christians!

Many believers make Christianity look incredibly undesirable and not worth the conversion effort. The world looks upon us and struggles to see true benefits of walking with Christ.

With too many religious practices, limited reflections of how “fun” can be had and often appearing like the majority is barely making it, I can see why non-believers choose to remain just that! It does not appear corporately that the Body of Christ is prospering.

Now I’m not talking about mere material things. Although essential in life, this is the least of things I am referring to.

I’m referring to complete prosperity in the totality of man.

*Success in our relationships

*True redemption in our health

*Consistency in our conduct

*Overflow in our finances

Instead many of us are divorcing at the same pace as the world, are dying before our time, act as if we’ve never confessed the prayer of salvation and constantly struggle in lack or “Just Enough”.

We make it seem like the devil takes better care of his than God ever promised His children that He would!

As a result, the world struggles to respect our position and our purpose in the gospel. This is exactly what the enemy wants.

Christ indeed paid it all! So why are we not reaping all that He laid His life down for?

It’s our lack of FAITH!

It’s The words we speak contrary to His promises!

It’s the company we keep!

It’s the voices we entertain when we are alone!

Many of us need to REALLY try God at His very Word! Put a demand on Heaven and stop making Christianity look so unattractive!

Just think of what could happen if you routinely did the opposite REGULARLY!

Instead of giving up on your relationships and seeking the easy way out, Walk In Love with people until change comes.

What about writing and speaking out declarations over that illness DAILY while you do what you must in the natural regarding diet and exercise.

Challenge yourself to be a better representative of Christ in your character to win those who don’t believe.

Truly trust God with your finances by managing your money according to His plan and not your own which probably is not working anyway.

How much more would our Heavenly Father blow us away with His goodness when we truly activate FAITH? It’s the very element that keeps us from living that abundant life that He promised us.

Make a decision today to prepare to go into the new Year REALLY believing and trusting God. This cannot be done with mere words but also in action and deed. God has already done all that He will. It’s up to us to move and ignite in FAITH in order to see all His promises TRULY come to pass!

Angels

4 Reasons To Believe In Angels

Whether we as humans willingly admit it or not, we are just a tad bit infatuated with the possibility of Angels!

Many make subliminal comments about them during times of tragedy, grief and life altering despair. Many of us live through moments when we know that our survival from a situation was the result of something far greater than what we can visually see. We often don’t hesitate to accredit the possibilities of Angels being in our midst.

But are they real or just a mystical fabric of our deepest imaginations? Do they really exist somewhere beyond the realm of our realities and tangible experiences?

At minimum and for the believing heart in the content of the Bible, Angels indeed are very real!

1. The word of God makes over 300 references of them in the Bible. I’ve personally Read and reviewed every single one! Accompanied by a soothing cup of tea and my concordance companion, I’ve read them all!

2. Angels are mighty spiritual beings. Their primary purpose is to guide and protect the human life that they are assigned to.

3. Angels are superior to humans in intellect and power but not greater than Almighty God Himself.

4. God is known to be Omni present. Meaning He is everywhere at all times. With the assistance of Angels, they help carry out His Will and perfect Commands.

So the next time you’re alone in a space but sense that someone is near, consider that an Angel may be with you.

Those unexplainable instances that you somehow escaped are Angels in protective operation just for you.

While in your deepest dreams a message is delivered to you that you recall vividly once you awake. There is a strong possibility that An Angel was sent to speak to you by your Heavenly Father.

Life and what we endure, especially in these times of great uncertainty, is much more comforting when we consider these things. Our circumstances all become so much clearer when we take heed and just believe.

Soulful Sunday – Be Ye Separate!

The world and its customs are changing in ways that frankly disturb my Christian soul upon deep consideration. The differences are coming swiftly lately and it’s clear that few humanly in power are taking stances to draw any lines.

The promotion of soliciting wrongs as right and rights as wrong have reached astronomical portions! Even other countries Have viewed our practices as disgusting as we continue to promote “freedom without ethical boundaries ” it never stops and we are looking like a modern day Sodom and Gomorrah.

In the past several years, drastic alterations to biblical principles that our country was founded on have been completely dismantled. So much that the new generation and those to come are at risk of not even knowing the moral standards we once had ever existed at all.

What’s happening is a very sad state of affairs that grieves my spirit but further solidifies my position in Christ Jesus that I shall not be moved!

Last week I endured a level of offense with my employer that I have never endured in over 25 years of working. Because of recent federal regulations that have changed which trickles down at the individual state level, I am now forced to do a few things that are completely contrary to my Christian moral values. I’ve never been in a position where I feel I have no choice and must compromise for the sake of my livelihood. The very thought of the matter sickens me and I call out to my Abba Father for direction.

He gently reminds me that I’m in this world but not of it. I must operate in my role as unto Him and he will, in due time, make a way of escape for me. He saw this coming long before my experiences. In order to survive, I must keep my eye on Him now more than ever before.

As Christians, today is the day to take a more concrete stance in what we believe in. We live in a country that is “Free” so as the world changes, we shouldn’t if it’s not for the better in our Savior.

Be ye Separate from them!

Don’t find acceptance in the chances!

Represent Christ so that those who dismiss His Will clearly understands whose side you are on! There should be no question or surprise that you are indeed a believer!

Resist the enticing temptations to please the flesh!

Don’t be moved from God’s Word, Will and plans for your life!

Continue to sharpen yourselves with other believers to strengthen your united front!

Do it all by walking in Love for that’s what our Father commands us to do!

All of this is getting more difficult to comprehend as to why this is happening. But we still serve a God who is very much in control and has the end result already worked out!
