Soulful Sunday – Going Deeper

I became encouraged to write this post after visiting a church that reminded me where I was as a babe in Christ many years ago. The Pastor was extremely charismatic! His vocals were through the roof, and his goal appeared to be hyping up the crowd during worship and periodically during his prepared message. People were all around me dancing, shouting and going off in their own undignified praise!

I’m no longer moved by services like that. This time I was nothing more than entertained and reminded of what use to move me. Once upon a time when I was drinking only spiritual milk, that kind of service once filled me to capacity. Get me emotionally stirred up, let me shout it out, and go home saying “We Had Church Today!”

Those days are long gone and my spiritual edifice needs meat along with my appetizers! Give me the unadulterated Word of God and I have been known to come way out of my shell and turn up in the house of the Lord!

Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely enjoyed my visit. Praise and Worship sets the atmosphere to receive. But God began to show me over the years during my Christian experience how he’s been taking me deeper. As I continue to follow and yearn for more of Him, I’ve learned that this far exceeds a ramping up in song and dance. The Word takes me beneath the surface.

My Walk in the beginning started with a Baptist/Pentacostal experience. I learned how to get in touch with my emotions and become vulnerable to stirring experiences. I learned how to shout, dance, understand the move of the Holy Spirit and could care less who was watching.

I then moved on to a Non-Denominational church environment. – Here I embraced the Worship experience. It’s more subtle and personal with the raising of my hands in reverence to my Savior, closing my eyes, crying out before God openly in the same unashamed way. I received the gift of speaking in tongues and embraced the unified corporate fellowship of Believers from all walks of life.

Today I am learning spiritual warfare. Responding and fighting the many tough issues that life can throw my way by not focusing on flesh and blood. I am trusting God with my whole life much more by, purposing to keep my eye on Him and staying confidant that He is truly in control.

Putting it all together is an awesome spiritual concoction that has reaped so many progressive rewards. I can never get enough and am forever excited about the next level of deeper.

Have you reached a stalemate in your Walk with God? Are you bored, operating in your own understanding and have settled or plateaued in you Christian growth? If so, it may be time to seek ways to go deeper in God.

He has so much more for us. To get what we are entitled to, we must sit at his feet and purposely spend time with Him. We may need to leave the Church we have been at for years if we are no longer growing. We may need to stop kidding ourselves and accepting human logic that church attendance is optional. We will certainly need to surrender our own will.

What ever it may be, a shift, change or move is required in order to experience deeper.

Until next time, Happy Sunday!

RealBoldTruth Talk Show – Interview with Suchi Murden

Happy Friday Readers!!

It’s that time again! RealBoldTruth the talk show on Heart Ministry Radio airs tonight at 6 p.m. EST!

I’m really excited about this one for I am interviewing my very first guest! Her name is Suchi Murden. She is a powerful BOLD, spirit led, on fire for Jesus believer with an incredible testimony!!

Born in India and converted from the Hindu faith, she accepted Christ as her Lord and savior and developed the gift of prophecy. We met nearly 4 years ago while I was shopping in Walmart. I was extremely downcast in spirit and suffering from a great deal of depression and anger at the time when God sent Suchi my way. She stopped me and asked if she could pray for me and boy did she ever!!!! She then spoke some very specific words over my life and although I have had great reservations with this spiritual gift, I received every word!

Suchi and I remained connected after that day via social media but this interview is the first time we have sat down to talk since we met!! Her words given by God are manifesting and are absolutely heaven sent!

Soulful Sunday – Provision – A Word of Exhortation

The Spirit of the Lord whispered to my soul speaking specific, detailed and BOLD things about the subject of finances and provision.  Believe and Receive!

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The Lord your God says that my children are putting me in a box during a critical season of complete overflow for them. 2016 is a year of Jubilee, a pouring out of abundant blessings! They are thinking, praying and asking too small when so much more is available. I’m so much bigger and greater than daily needs sayeth the Lord.  This REALLY is your time!

I can’t bless my babies beyond what they ask for or believe no matter how much I want to. Those who seek and step up to receive this abundance must do so in Faith and free from greed, unnecessary excess and complete selfishness.  For the blessings are not just for you alone but for the lost.

I want to entrust and spoil you with the finer things of this world knowing that you will handle MY business! That dream, that vision, that desire, that longing is yours, just as I have shown and told you.  But your Faith wavers way too frequently! I am that Big God and you must trust me through my Word.  Get back in line, agree with only me and those who seek me and also are in agreement.  Watch me be your Abba Father, spoil you beyond description, showing off for you immeasurably!  Again, not for you to keep it to yourself in testimony and in deed, but to operate in the more than enough blessings in order to be a blessing.

Over the past several months, I have been showing my children blessings that they have defined as incredible. But they are small matters in comparison to what I truly have.  How long will you operate in the same minute mindset?  How much more do you have to suffer unnecessarily when you have a Father who owns it all?  I’ve put the power in your hands to change your circumstances NOW and in this very hour.

I have commanded you to Occupy Until I Return (Luke 19:13).  How can you do so empty handed, with a cast down spirit, riddled with worry, living beneath your means, robbing Peter to pay Paul, existing from pay-check to pay-check, losing sleep and grossly struggling?  If this is your case, you are under a curse and it does not line up with my promises. Rebuke the devour with My word through your lips, with commitment to paying your tithes and offerings and with your Faith.  These are the critical keys to overcoming lack.  NO NEGOTIATIONS! They all go together! There is no other way!

I said ask and you shall receive! – (Matthew 21:22)

I said seek and you shall find!  – (Matthew 7:7)

I said lend and not borrow!  – (Deuteronomy 15:6)

I said LIVE and not die! – (Psalm 118:17)

Let me be who I said I am that is no other than and none less than THE GREAT I AM!

(Exodus 3:14, John 4:26, 6:20, 8:24, 28 & 58, 13:19, & 18:5)

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
If you receive this word, I dare, challenge and provoke you to take your Faith relative to provision and finances to a greater level. There are 3 more months left in this season.  Its not too late to get what God has for you! I dare you to speak NOTHING but His promises from this day forward regardless of what it looks like in the natural! If you can’t speak life into your circumstances, then shut your mouth and say nothing at all! We’ve been negative long enough. Let’s do something different and REALLY believe God!

Believe Him like never before! Put the enemy under your feet!  Stop shouting and then turning around and worry, speaking and meditating on death, but remain consistent until blessings manifest from the spiritual into the natural!

For the next 7 days, (Sept 25, 2016-Oct 1, 2016) Speak nothing but life over your finances. Get scriptures on it and don’t be moved!  I don’t care if the bill collectors are at the door, they reposes your car, the tax man garnishes your wages, they cut off your gas and water, or you loose your job, Say what God says and watch what He does because you believed!

Women of Wisdom – Pastor Barbara Blackston

This word is for the body of Christ in particular. One day while I was in prayer I asked the Lord what else can we as believers do to help this world besides praying. Prayer is good and does have the power to change things, but I was asking specifics on what more is possible. I heard the Spirit of the Lord Say, “Occupy Until I come.”

After hearing this I began to search the Word of God and found Luke 19:11-13 which is a parable or story that Jesus told. It speaks of a nobleman who needed to leave his  servants for a time to establish a kingdom. Before leaving, this man called 10 of his servants, gave them ten minas (one for each of them equivalent to one hundred days of wages) and said “Do business or Occupy until I return.”

Although this portion of scripture relates to money and the Lord expecting his people to do business until he comes back, He showed me that the interpretation surpasses even that. God is reminding His people to take what I have given you and rule, dominate, and seize until I come again.

Before the Lord left us, He supplied His people with 3 very specific tools for use by every believer in our obedience towards doing his business.

1) The Holy Spirit –
The Holy Spirit is to be used in witness and effective ministry amongst the body of Christ and towards those who don’t know Him. We use the Holy Spirit to edify, uplift and encourage others as well as to build up ourselves so that we ourselves can remain strong.

2) The Fruits of theSpirit –
He left us with the fruits of the Spirit which are Love, Patience, Faithfulness, Kindness, Goodness, Gentleness, Joy, Self-Control and Peace. We need to operate in them all to attend to the body of Christ and those who don’t yet belong. It’s our duty to continually show love and compassion because of  the evil and concerns of this world. We must remind and get others to see that God came that we may have an abundant life! (John 10:10).

3) The Anointing –
He gave us the anointing that is useful in breaking every yoke of bondage that people suffer from. We are called to tear down strongholds and things that the world feels that they can’t control or matters that are controlling them. The anointing is also effective in breaking these same matters that try to bind us as well.

In order to assure that we who believe remain focused on this instruction, we need to develop a consistent and purposed routine to get before the Lord. A daily fellowship with Him is necessary. Preferably early in the morning if possible. Start off by first giving him thanks for allowing us to see another day. Read daily devotions and speak aloud affirmations. This process is preparation for the day which sets the precedence for what lies ahead.

Ask God To show you what to do and how you can be used to bless other people. Don’t go out  naked before the world and let the enemy wreak havoc over your life.

Represent the Savior, don’t be moved, overwhelmed, and don’t compromise. This is certainly how we must occupy until his return.

Soulful Sunday – The Assembly

I love Sundays! Probably my next favorite day of the week after Fridays for obvious reasons!!

Sundays are serene, a day I can dictate and choose to use as my heart so pleases! Good old Rest and Relaxation is my goal on this day; of course after I come home from Church!

For many, church attendance is optional, not truly a necessity and feels more like a chore. After giving our employer that 9-5 Monday-Friday and Saturdays are used for what we can’t do during the week, Sunday is the day that a great deal choose to sleep in and keep for themselves. Then there are those who have been hurt by the Church and have determined that attendance is just not for them. Watching an on-line or televised inspirational special is good enough. Not to mention convenient and all many are willing to give!

Personally, I completely understand all of these examples. I am a very busy lady! A mother, wife, full time employee, daughter, friend, writer and a multitude of other titles and hats I’ve been blessed to wear. It all gets done someway and some how. Furthermore, I understand church hurt far too well. It stings and offends the soul oftentimes beyond repair if wisdom is not sought in these sensitive cases.

But the RealBoldTruth in the matter is that our Lord and Savior, the precious Heavenly  Father clearly instructs that gathering with the saints of God is not an option. He wants us to regardless if the enemy has tricked us into thinking going is not such a big deal.  Well, it is!

Hebrews 10:25 instructs us as Believers to get together for Worship and Instruction. Some may argue this interpretation but sounds like Church to me! Especially when I read this passage in the Amplified Version.

By ignoring this direction and remaining secluded in our reverence to Christ
we deny ourselves and others many blessings. They include extended knowledge, fellowship, opportunities to give (not just finances) and times to receive.

I don’t know about you but there are times when I lie in bed on Sunday mornings and my physical logic just don’t feel like being bothered! It’s that same feeling I get when my brain says go to the gym but my body don’t want to cooperate! When my spirit gets the final say, I drag my flesh into doing what it doesn’t feel like doing.  By the time my workout ends, I feel like I can conquer the world! No matter if people around me think, “What in creation is she doing???”

I get this same sense of uphoria after I leave church. My spirit has been touched and edified. I was able to hug or encourage someone who came in discouraged. I find out about a new event that my family or children can benefit from. I meet new friends that add so much value to my life and I pray that I do the same in return. Unexpected blessings occur periodically that I certainly would not have been able to receive if I choose to stay home consistently. Networking connections present themselves and beyond. My soul is charged like a battery until I join the assembly again. There’s nothing like it!

I don’t have to stress the understatement that life can be excruciating at times. The society of others who share our common faith makes our challenges a lot easier to handle. I wish I could say that we don’t have to be guarded in a sense when it comes to us “Church Folk”, but the enemy is who he is amongst humans who will never be flawless!

Develop a gift of discernment when it comes to picking a church and how close you get to those in it. My motto is chew the meat and spit out the bones! That’s the practice of hearing from your spirit man what is for you and what is not! Unfortunately, the devil will walk right up in the building! He will take a seat to continue to cause confusion amongst the saints and the world who watches our conduct.

Although we have little to no control over this, there are still less devils in church than in the world! There is safety, protection and strength in the body of Christ overall and real benefits for attending.

Regardless of what you decide to do with this gentle reminder, know that it’s a fact, as believers,  we need each other to survive.

Happy Sunday!

Women of Wisdom – A Cheryl Colman Poem

This month on RealBoldTruth, several women will be featured here to depart wisdom, exhortation and encouragement. These are my Women of Wisdom! Sixty+, settled, saved and seasoned!

Our kick off is an original poem penned by Sister Cheryl Coleman:

Women of Worth

You are a woman of worth
Even though you weren’t placed here first
Now don’t take that placement so lightly you see
God has placed beautiful gifts deep within thee
You have been called by God from above
To do His will, to answer His call
Your scars and wounds display you test of time
Has been your elevation for God’s Devine
Now you’re ready, the time has finally come
For you to step into the millennium
One by one, two by two
You know exactly what to do
Release those gifts placed deep inside
To be a blessing to all mankind
No need to worry or stagger back
God ‘s got your front, He’s got your back
You have everything you need, intact
God made no mistake, that’s a fact
So go forth and let your light shine
Be a glory to God, Gods glory in His eyes

Soulful Sunday – God Be Big!

#GODbeBIG… what does that mean? God is Big! My response is yes. Yes, He is. #GODbeBIG is more than a statement; it is a proclamation that expresses ones submission to GOD’s deity.

It means “Do You!” Do what You said You would do; Be who Your Word says You are! Do whatever it takes to live out the truths of Your Word in my Life…Do You!

image compliments of Lorisprayercloset.com
In a perfect world these truths only include scriptures like, “…the LORD will make you the head and not the tail, and you will always be on top and never at the bottom.” ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭28:13‬ ‭

Also ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭10:22‬ …

These are scriptures that primarily causes our hearts to feel good about what we are getting from GOD.

What about the truths that chisel away at the nastiness of our hearts and help us to look more like God? Scriptures like “Repent of your wickedness and pray to the Lord. (Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭8:22‬.)

“So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth.”

Also consider ‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:6‬, or “If we claim we have not sinned, we are calling God a liar and showing that his word has no place in our hearts.”‭‭

And 1John‬ ‭1:10‬ ‭

Let God, not only be Big in the good things that happen in, through and around us, but GOD be BIG enough to cause our flesh to take notice of lukewarm and cold areas of our heart. Let Your WORD encourage and convict us to submit and repent.

With this proclamation we take God out of the Box, relinquishing our desire to be in control and allow Him to take his rightful place in our hearts and our lives!
