Soulful Sunday – It’s Harvest Time!

Fall is simply one of the most beautiful times of the year in my opinion. The crisp cool breeze in the air, especially in the evenings, feels so brisk. I love to take deep inhales as the playful breezes rush across my face, into my nose and fills my lungs with a satisfying freshness.

The nighttime skys now graces its presence a little earlier. Stars seem to double in capacity, brightness and diamond-like glitter. The moon also seems to have a distinctness. It seems bolder and fuller in the fall.

During the day, the trees are undeniably breathtaking as they begin to transform. The warm multi colors of the leaves are indeed my favorite. On a scenic drive, I am alway captivated by the height of the beautiful transition that only the hand of God can inspire.

Fall is also a time for harvest. All of the backbreaking sacrificial labor sown in the previous months are now producing long awaited crops. Fruits, vegetables, and grains spring forth in abundance and will be gathered for storage.

This process of abundant collecting is not only applicable to the agricultural world but to all things of the Spirit. Seed, time and harvest is upon the Body of Christ in this 4th quarter of the year. Are you in position to retrieve the profit that’s rightfully due you?

Are you prepared in your faith, with your nets, with your barns and are your hands and windows open to receive? Expectations must be present at this time for if you have sown you WILL also reap.

Some of you may have grown weary in your wait. I am hear to remind you to prepare now for your gathering season is upon you! God has not forgotten the time you’ve spent, the blessings you’ve sacrificed, your acts of obedience and the times you’ve denied yourself so that others could prosper.

Every seed that you’ve sown earlier this year is about to show up in excess! Our Father in Heaven has showered much rain this past spring and summer to water what you’ve planted. It’s been in the ground going through a metamorphosis and will soon shoot forth. Get in position, for its Harvest Time!

Until Next Time, Happy Sunday!
